For more than 60 years, Ms. Mary has held one simple belief close to her heart: a person’s desire to learn music should never be silenced simply because they cannot afford the opportunity. Throughout her decades of teaching, she has quietly made that belief a reality—offering free or discounted piano lessons when families needed a helping hand, purchasing or providing music books and sheet music for students who could not afford them, and, on several occasions, even placing a piano into the home of a student in need, either from her own collection or through instruments donated to her studio.

The Mary Liggins Goodrich Piano Lessons Endowment Fund was established so that this beautiful tradition of generosity can continue for generations to come.
